How to block condition type MWST from manual chages for a distribution channel?

Hi Experts,

I need to block condition type MWST from manual changes in the sales order for a particular distribution channel. Business requirement is such that I can not copy the condition type MWST & create a new one ZWST etc!

Hi,

If you want this condition type not to be modified at all then you can make changes in the CONFIGURATION OF CONDITION TYPE V/06

check the field AMOUNT/PERCENTAGE

If you want this restriction to apply only for specific distribution channels then use authorization as specified

Thank you for good Document!...But cant there be any easier option? I actually need to block manual intervention of MWST CT in sales order for a particular distribution channel & another customised field in VBAK.

Hello Chandra,

Since your requirement is to block manual changes to MWST for a particular Distribution Channel & you cannot a new Condition type, there is no SAP Standard way to achieve this.

You will have to go for a Authorization control & Enhancement (ABAP) Development as suggested in the document referred above.
