Hi,
Can any one suggest me how to change "Att/absence reason" field in TMW, Time Event tab as Mandatory? Currently this field always comes as option in TMW, even this filed is Mandatory in Module Pool. In PA30 this filed in coming manadatory in IT2011, however in TMW it is coming as option. Our requirement is in TMW also this field must be mandatory.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Regards,
Nirmod
Dear All,
Thank you very much for your reply. Just to inform you TMW is not based on web dynpro application.

Dear Nirmod,
You can try in adding mandatory using the related Web Dynpro component
I don't think that you had option for Portal config, let see any experts will reply.

Hi Nirmod,
Go to table t588m. In this table you can control Infotype Screen as per module pool & Screen number. Then select MP200000 screen number 2500 and Variable key 0
After select that tab click details and you can get screen control window
Here you change Grouping 05 (Att/abs reason) Std to RF. Then save entry. Now go to IT2011
You can find Att/absence reason field as mandatory field as per your requirement.
Thanks & Regards

HI Nirmod,
If the application is Web Dynpro Java, you can try using personalization from Portal.
Go to Content Admin in Portal, make sure you are logged in as a Manager in Portal.
Go to Role and Navigate to the iView, Right click on iview and Preview the application
Once the screen is open do CTRL + Right Click and go to the field and make it as mandatory.
Or
Enhance the Web Dynpro Java Application using NWDS to do the same.
If the application is Web Dynpro ABAP, you can go to Component Configuration and go the field and make it as mandatory. And once done go to Portal and open the iview and give the Configuration name as the component configuration name.
Hope this helps.
Cheers-
Pramod
