Question & Answer Database Template for Payroll

Hello Experts,

I have been searching the forum since yesterday but unfortunately could not able to find anything productive.

I am looking for Q& A template for payroll that i could use in order to capture the client requirement in business blueprint phase. I have solution manager 4.0  installed but i have no idea how can i generate the Q&A template for the payroll. therefore, if anyone of you could provide me the detail of how to generate the Q&A database i will be really grateful to them.

In the meanwhile if anyone have a template for SAP HR payroll. Please forward me on my email

Hi Usman

this approach has best suited him,pl see how it works for u..after couple of workshops  with ur hr process owner ,sit with ur FI cosultant and get the list of employee related G/L and work backwards..sit with ur process owner and ask him what needs to be done for this scneario for ex ..this may also work,bcoz from my past experience the users will be naive and there could be some business process that might quit their mind.

Dear Usman,

I never used the template for this. Actualy the process is we do AS-IS process (1 or 2 weeks) before preparing the blueprint document.

In As-Is process, we discuss the current payroll process of that organization and we can identify what is their requirement. So based on that we have to define the blueprint document and which we will submit to the bussines and get blueprint sign off. After sign off , we will stick with the blueprint and move to the realisation phase where we can do configuration.

In payroll we have to consider bellow points mostly,

01. how  many wage types we need for the payment and deduction.

02.how many payroll area we need to have?

03.payment date.

04.Payroll period monthly or weekly?

05.indirect valuation (based on payscale structure) or direct valuation.

06.how to make grouping for PSA and ESG for wage type.

07. assigning which wage type for which infotype , 0008,0014,0015,2010.

08. loan, loantypes and payemnt types.

09. Payroll posting . need to consider how many sympolic a/c u need and identify which wage type should go to expence AC and which should go to balance sheet.
