SG has not been assigned to a country group for legal regulation KOR

Dear GTS Experts,

Sorry if this a very basic question but I searched allot can't find the solution.

I am receiving below error message under legal control country group/control group when looking at the log for blocked documents:-

SG has not been assigned to a country group for legal regulation KOR

Message no. /SAPSLL/CON_CORE139

I checked the configuration country SG assigned to country group B and country group B is assigned to legal regulation KOR. Also checked the determination strategy, everything is fine.

Can someone please suggest if I am missing anything or possible cause of this error.

Thanks In advance,

Davinder

Hi Davinder,

I hope you have double checked the configuration already.

  • As you said, Is SG assigned to Country group B with the correct validity period?

  • I have not faced this issue earlier. But i checked in the code and can see that this message is raised after license type determination check. I believe, your license determination strategy is CD04 Country group/Control class. In this case, as we know already

System first gets all the Country Groups assigned to Legal regulation from table /SAPSLL/LRGCGP and then verifies the details with /SAPSLL/CTYGPA.

In all these checks there is a field "RPTDT"  Time stamp of Business Transaction. Which is used to verify the validity of the country group. I believe there could be something wrong with this.

To start with you can have a breakpoint setup in Include /SAPSLL/LLCC_DOCUMENT_CHECKF05 and check the Form licty_det_information_check

Country group verification is done in this form. If the country group determination fails here there is an indicator which is used immediately after this to raise Message e139.

Try it and let us know how it goes.

Hi Dhilipan,

Thanks for your reply and help. It is really helpful.

Yes you are correct actually there is mismatching in the dates between the validity period of country to country group and Definitive Date(RPTDT), my order in ECC is has confirmed schedule lines outside the validity period of assignment in GTS.

As I am SD consultant and new to GTS, I have one question:

Can we change the validity periods for this country and country assignment or do we need any permission or data from relevant governments? Just like we get SPL data from Government.

Thanks,

Hi Davinder,

If its a customized country group yes you can. Ideally, we define it for a longer period something like 29.12.9999.

Changing the valid from and valid to date is not possible by normal edit. You may have to delete that entry and then re-create it with correct validity.

What's the valdity setup in your system. I am not sure why was it defined so in your system.

Is this a standard country group?
