ICM error
We’ve got two java systems that are giving me grief during the Extractor Framework setup portion of the automatic setup. One of the systems is new and has never been completely configured, the other was working (succesfully configured in MSC) but recently began throwing the same error. We weren’t really using TechMon until recently so I don’t really know when the previously configured system decided to stop working.
Basically what happens is a very generic ICM error at end of Automatic Config, both systems throw the same error.

Another oddity that I’ve noticed with just these two systems is that the JVM_AGENT.OUT logs have characters at the end that don’t occur in other files. Consecutive lines of square braces [], seems to tell me that something isn’t writing to the logs correctly, but that’s a guess.

System that used to work also shows some “system failure” errors in EFWK
SOLMANDIAG: bean e2e_java_extractor_if not found on host, RC 97
Errors – System failure in Extractor – system failure code 99
Also shows error of “Agent not running”, but it is running and green in Agent Admin.

Solman 7.1 sp8, central note up to date. Second most recent kernel
Sun Solaris with Oracle db
Any ideas/thoughts appreciated.

According to SAP KBA 1860293 - Extractors Setup Error "CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT : SOAP 1,023 SRT" and "ICM_HTTP_TIMEOUT" in Sol... you need to implement SAP Note 1833976 - Performance improvement for RCA template extraction.
