Hi Experts,
I have got an issue in IT2001 which says "Conflict with Absence". This issue is happening only when the leave is applied through ESS Portal, but if the same is tried through ECC it is just showing us a colision check and if we continue it is allowing us to proceed further.
Attached are the screenshots explaining my issue in detail. Appreciate if you could help me the solution to over come this issue.

Through R/3.
Absence type 06UL – Unauthorized Leave available for 3 days,
If Leave is applied through R/3 it is allowing us after showing the collision check as mentioned below.
Through ESS

Only Through ESS it
is not allowing. Please help.
Hi Srithar,
According to you screen shot, you have applied unathorized leave on 5th, 6th and 7th in the ECC system.
And the same time your applying the "Privilage leave" from 5th to 7th.Can you apply 2 deferent leave types on the same date?? Is it Practical?
If you adjust the TCC 3 for this its possible. but it doest make sence. i feel so.

Dinesh

Hi Sridhar,
I think may be you had implemented validation displaying error msg in ESS,
check this one https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPHCM/Validations%20for%20ESS%20Leave%20request
and also let me know is it effecting for all or any specific users and also check once for below path for that specific groups
Personnel Management -> Employee Self-Service->Service specific
SettingsWorking Time -> Leave Request -> Processing Processes->
Configure Output of messages
Hi Kedhar,
Thanks for your mail.
Yes, we have some conditions implemented to check clubing of two leave requests like below.. in the Badi PT_ABS_REQ.
(1) CL should not be clubed with PL or SL
(2) CL cannot be applied immediately after / before Sunday.
But there is no rule to show an error in ESS for this condition.
Also as per your advise i have checked the ESS settings for Output messages as well. We have not used any, so there is no data available in that table.

Hi Sridhar,
Pl check the note 1370678 once,
Are you getting this error for all, then you need to go changing this Error to warning,
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPHCM/Leave+request+Configuration+steps
If you are getting for any particular group then you need to debug with Abaper
Dear Sridhar,
Check this one along with Abaper & you to find in debugging mode from where it is generating in your system, they can help you on converting.

Hi Sridhar,
Check the FM used in the Workflow to see if it is saving the data when you test it. You might need your Workflow/ABAP consultant for analysis.

Hi Sridhar Nagu
Check in PTARQ is there any Leave request(P L,U A) pending to Approve for the Perticular Employee in that period.

Yes Mr. Murali. I have checked in PTARQ and there is no leave request. All these 3 entries are directly posted in IT2001 by the Attendance recording system.
The attendance recording system posts in IT2001 for employees whose attendance details are not captured for a given day. Then the employee regularizes it with respective leave.
