Lookup performance For DSO

Hi,

My DSO is used as lookup in other Transformation.

As all the key fields are not available in transformation, the lookup from DSO is taking very long time

Please advise how to improve Lookup performance

1) Create secondary index in DSO with fields in Transformation. If yes, does it require reload in DSO if we transport to Production

2) Any other way
