Hi Gurus,
I need to create an Access sequence for a specific TAX requirement. But I need to set the sorce field with a Constant and Initial Value into the first source field, but when I try to do that. The system send me the next messsage:
"You cannot maintain a source field name for an initial constant"
Anybody knows if I have the possibility to set an initial value or a constant into an Access sequence in this way? or do you have suggestions to set constants?
Thanks in advance.
Maria.
Hi Maria,
I don't think is possible, plus doesn't make sense, if one field have a constant, can not have a variable assigned (source field), if is a constant is a constant.
As you probably already check, you can mark initial value in both cases, using a constant as a source of the value or using the structure as the source of the value.
In order to try to propose a workaround I need to know What do you really want to archive with this? I mean functionally speaking.
Cheers!
Luis
