Conversion Files taking Forever to Validate and Save

Hello everyone,

I've got some conversion files that are pretty large in v10 Netweaver - say 50k rows. 

Is it normal for conversion files of this size to take over 30 minutes to validate and save?  We're going over our timeout setting and this is causing errors, but it doesn't seem like these files should take so long to validate and save.

Hello Grant,

Have you tried validating with a smaller file to verify if the size is making a difference.  Also, please enable the performance trace as described in note 1891006.  That will show you where the time is being spent.  You can also report this to BPC support and send the trace file.
