Implementation for Vietnam - VN or 99?

Hi all,

We are in the process of implementing SAP for client based Vietnam. We have not have any experience for SAP implementation for Vietnam before, thus we are looking for the input of below queries from community for the following:

1. What is the best practice for using country grouping for Vietnam? - MOLGA 99 or VN?

We have found out the below from SAP OSS website regarding country grouping :

"Use the country grouping and cluster ID that is specified for your country in the table T500L. This prevents complications in case cluster IDs that are not listed in it are used for other applications."

2. As a follow-up on Q1, let's say we use MOLGA VN and we are going to perform the payroll run for Vietnam. Any additional customization needed for Payroll driver if VN? Any additional customization needed for others program etc which i am not aware of?

Vice versa, how about if I were to use MOLGA 99? Any additional customization?

Would really appreciate it if anyone could probably shed some light.
