MIGO goods issue - user exit question

hi there,

i have a 'heavy' requirement from customer, and i don't know how to solve it:

when entering goods issue in MIGO (from reservation) and there is not enough quantity in stock in plant A there should be a user-exit

which looks into the other plans (B,C,D,E............) if there the material is stored. if yes, there should be an transfer from the plant in which

there is enough quantity to plant A.

do you know with which user-exit i can archive this ? i haven't found anything which fits.

are your plants logical plants? I mean one location divided into several plants?

if this would be physical plants, some kilometers away from each other, then it is not logical to do a goods issue before you have even transferred the material physically.

i don't know if it is a logical plant or not. fact is: i have this requirement and i have to solve the issue

You should have at least a little knowledge about the setup of your plants, how else can you do consulting?

Some issues should not just be treated with a technical solution, sometimes it is necessary to educate the users and even to rethink about business processes.

I could just say, allow negative stocks, and you can continue with your process, until you get your issues with the negative stocks

Then search for exit only. Also remember that before doing Goods Issue you need to transfer the material from another plant to the good issue plant .

I dont know how system will react since during this execuation you already locked this material in good issue plant ,

there is a standard-enhancement included there.

i cannot change it without a key i have to enter there. so it is an modification, which i

want to avoid.
