Service entry sheet acceptance error log

Hi all

While doing service entry sheet acceptance following error message appears "F5-808 Field Ref. Key 1 is a required field for G/L account XXXX XXXXXX".

I checked thru program RM07CUFA, Field TEXT in General data is mentioned as HIDDEN for mvt type 101 and REQUIRED for G/L.

Also checked with FI consultant, they require this field as mandatory for posting.

Already we have field SGTXT (Item text) as optional for movement type. Still error appears.

My question is

1) Which field name I have to include in field selection thru OMJJ for movement type 101. I couldn't see any field namely line item text in table MSEG.

2) If I change field "Line item text - general data" as Optional will there be any effects in regular GR 101. Which tab it will appear.

IF MM is optional, FI also need to be optional. If FI is optional, MM can be required but not the other way round.

Hi,

Are you not able to simulate the error with RM07CUPA, System will surely say where is the mismatch between GL & Movement type.

You have to make the field to be mandatory in movement type or optional in GL. As per my knowledge both should be identical then only you can get rid of this.

Hi Amala,

Mismatch field is Item text in General data. It is having HIDDEN in 101 or Required in G/L FSG.

As per FI consultant, they require the item text mandatory for FI transactions. Now we require to change 101 field settings.

My question is

Dear Suddy,

Sorry for the late reply,

1.) Check the error log(Shift+F5) in above output screen then you will be clearly knowing the error if you still have concerns.

2.) In the RM07CUFA output screen, you can make the field optional or as you wish,(click on the same) no need to go to exclusively  OMJJ. If you make a field as an optional it does not affect any where for your regular transactions.

Hi,

   My suggestion is that Instead of going for change in standard movement type, you may change the field selection for the GL. Keep the field optional in the field selection group of the GL. For capturing the text, you can use SGTXT in MSEG as mandatory.

Field Item text is required for FI transactions to enter additional data. As of now it is having HIDDEN status for movement type 101.

If I change field selection as Optional for 101, the areas I have to check.

Any one has done similar changes to field selection mvt type 101. Please advice
