Removing transports from the STMS Import queue

Hello,

Before I start, I know I can remove all imported transports in with the option in STMS but what I actually want to do is remove a whole chunk of transports, not all, and not all of those have been imported.

I have tried using the tp delfrombuffer command but annoyingly even though the transport is in the queue it just keeps saying "not found in buffer".  Quite frustrating really.

Anyway I'm just wondering if I'm doing something wrong or whether there's some other way I could use....

The reason I'm doing it is our QAS system now has something like 8000 transports listed in it and it's slowing the system down so I want to tidy it up and remove up to the beginning of this year from the queue whether it's imported or not.

Thank you,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Ideally tp delfrombuffer should work if TR request exists in buffer.

Meanwhile you can create a virtual system say SID=V and forward all the requests to buffer of system V(to ensure keep copy of buffer).

Delete buffer of main system(your QAS). Go to STMS_IMPORT and refresh(This will create empty buffer for QAS).

Forward the required TR from Virtual System buffer  V--- >>>> QAS.
