"created relationship is outside preview period" error

"created relationship is outside preview period".I am getting this error when I try to assign a perner to a position in ppoce transaction.

Preview date is "current date + 3 months",if i change it to "current date + end date(31.12.999) then issue is not coming and I am able to assign the perner.

Can anyone help me that why this issue is occurring??

Hi Swati,

When you use PPOCE the system will show you the current date as Start date and the enddate as 31.12.9999.

And also we normally create position, orgunit and job etc in OM. for an example. position mapped with org unit, job,task and cost center.

this position has to be attached with employee in PA side while doing hiring then system will automaticallt create the relation ship 008 Holder with position.

what is your requirement that u needs to be mapped PERNR with position in PPOCE.

yes, when we create Ogr. Unit system will show you the current date as Start date and the enddate as 31.12.9999. But when I do right click on position and assign a particular perner to this position I am getting the above error.

Hi Swati,

Please check start date of your pernr. This error coming when pernr start date exceed total duration of your position. For ex.

Your position valid date is (25.03.2012 - 31.03.2012) and pernr start date 01.04.2012. If scenario is like that then this kind of problem occurs.
