Sort by month in Predictive Analysis

Hello,

I have an excel file with sales revenue by month in the format of "002.2013, 003.2013" etc. When I am adding this into a line chart the order is not displayed correctly. Is there a way for predictive analysis to identify that 002.2013 is actually February, 2013?
