Hi ,

I'm doing configuration for Service requests. Subject and reason fields are gray out even after configured subject and reason for service requests.

I followed below procedure, please correct me if I'm wrong or missing some thing.

In GUI :

1. Multilevel Categorization->Define Application Areas for Categorization .

Application ID : Indident , paramaeter : subject_profile and TXN_TYPE_AND_CATALOGTYPE

2. Multilevel Categorization->Assign Transaction Types to Catalog Categories

catalog categ  : C - oveview of damage-  no ticket for other fields ,

D- defect location - All tickets for other fields.

3. Multilevel Categorization-> Assign Item Categories to Catalog Categories

catalog categ  : C - oveview of damage-  no ticket for other fields ,

D- defect location - All tickets for other fields.

4. Maintained catalogs, code ,subject profile(ZHSP1) and assigned subject profile to transaction type ZHSR

In Web UI .

Created schema , In application area selected service request/Incident - subject profile - ZHSP1 ,status is active now.

Tried by choosing transaction/cat , not worked out.

Please help me to fix this issue .

Thanks,

Naveen.

Hello Naveen,

Did you follow the configuration giude C35 for Service Request?

For multilevel categorization - Please be sure that the user you used to logon in WebUI (IC_MANAGER) got role SAP_PCC_ERMS_ADMIN.

Caíque

Even I have the same issue in complaint as I am trying to maintain categorization, done all the steps correctly, schema is released(Not yet active), auth. objects assigned, but still it says no results found in categorization assignment block in complaint and categorization fields are all greyed out.

Is it mandatory to Assign Item categories to Catalog Categories. ???

Hi Caique,

Thanks for your response.

I reviewed my configuration with C35 once again then I identified the issue.

I have missed to add application ID Rule modeler in category. After adding Ruler modeler I can able to see the category 1,2.. values . Thanks for guiding me in right direction.

Thanks,

Naveen.

Hi Max,

Schema should be active , you can manually change the schema time and date to 5 mins above to current date and time and then release the schema. After 5mins schema will active . I hope this will fix your issue.

Thanks,

Naveen.

Dear Naveen,

The multilevel cat for service request (incidents) use 2 parameters:

-SUBJECT_PROFILE: This is the parameter that you are passing.

-TXN_TYPE_AND_CATALOGTYPE: This is the pending parameter, please fill with the transaction type and catalog type that you customize @ Multilevel Categorization->Assign Transaction Types to Catalog Categories , You can use C or D catalog type but I recommend use C.
