Hi everyone,

Iam a newbie to the SAP community. Currently at front end .Hoping to go to backend. Am not a engineering graduate ,so guess its more difficult for me .However, I think I have what it takes to take me to my destination. Need some guidance though.

I know this portal would really help me ,but not sure how to use it.

I would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

DJ

This portal can help you in different ways. This SCN contains different spaces to discuss different kind of queries. Some of them are for technical front i.e., how to do in SAP, some of them are in career front i.e., which course you can do in SAP (giving suggestions), etc.,

Just search as SCN career center in so you can get the space where you can start your queries. Once you get into SAP or decided your module to go with, then you can approach the specific space for that.

Hi DJ,

I recall my situation years back, when I started as Core team member in PM team.

Here, I try to narrate in brief my scn journey then on.

The starting point is an urge to participate and take some solutions to your issues from the members. It should start this way. This continues until you get enough confidence to help other members queries. This might take months or years. But You should be in constant touch with the discussions in your module and related modules.

So much knowledge is around. Though SAP is ocean-like, you'd never be tired of swimming.

The pace of knowledge acquisition keeps you motivated, feel different from others.

Then at some point you'd be familiar with technical aspects like tables. Then you'd get confidence in the area of specification for developments. Even you can become a developer if your environment supports.

Then, in the process, you'll feel like sharing some knowledge by posting  'Documents' to SCN.

Then you might have some loud and clear inner voices of yourself about SAP/SCN related things, which you might want to share with the forum through 'Blogs'

Wishing a pleasant voyage.
