update sales uom with dtw

hello,

i've to make a massive update on 500 items, their uom for sales is empty and so they can't be used in sales documents. I've tried to use dtw template for oitm but i think i'm doing something wrong because i can't seem to put a value in the units measure in the sales tab. Did someone had to do that before?

Hi Kim, hello from germany...

did you tried it like this:

you can copy to Excel:

ItemCode BuyUnitMsr SalUnitMsr InvntryUom

(Stk = german = pcs)

I often use it, without problems.

Hi Markus,

Thank you very much. I finally was able to update sales uom through DTW with the exact same file I was using before. Maybe there was something wrong with the DB. I'll keep your answer in my files anyway because it seems way more simple and straightforward than playing with DTW.

I am having the same issue and want to update both Sales and Purchase UOM. I follow your procedure but it doesn't work.
