Simplify SRM Screens - ITS ?

Hi,

We have a scenario where we plan to simplify ( Screen level changes of redundant elements ) SRM screens.Want to investigate for a effort estimate.Could anyone guide what are the possible options.Modify the HTML templates ? from Web Studio.Can someone give pointers and reference documents.

I would use the SRM screenvariants TA SHD0.

Depending on the SRM version you use very few screens are available for screen variants (transaction SHD0).

The 2 other possibility you have are:

-Modifiing the ABAP screen flow to hide the fields you want

-Modify the ITS templates: it has to be done through SE80 and would be quite simple for someone knowing SAP BHTML or HTML and ASP concept.

Thanks for the answer.However using ITS dosent seem to be a good possibility for me as I see that the integrated ITS allows only screen dependant IAC's , so I guess I will not be able to have multiple screens that the customer desires.Can I have my own templates ( Multiple ) and still execute the required transactions ?

How do you see the option of developing Webdynpro screens and viewing them in the portal.We can model the shopping cart scenario / selection / purchasing / confirmation and generating the invoice in WD and calling the reaspective BAPI's in the backend.

This way I will get the exact ( or quite close ) no of screens / look that the customer needs.I guess the dependency will be on the availability of all the BAPI's and the support.
