Register Services

Hi,

I am on Netweaver version 7.02.

When I try to register or maintain services by double clicking on Service Maintenance, I cannot see anything to chose from.

Am I missing any configuration for this?

Regards,

Dhruv

Hi Dhruv,

I guess you are talking about service maintenance in Service Builder(SEGW). If yes, then you are not able to view any systems under that where you can register and maintain your service. You are missing one configuration. Please follow steps below:

1. Go to SPRO transaction -> SAP Reference IMG

2. Navigate to node : SAP NetWeaver -> Gateway Service Enablement -> Backend OData      Channel      -> Connection Settings to SAP NetWeaver Gateway -> SAP NetWeaver Gateway      Settings.

3. Maintain the corresponding Gateway hub system entry where you would like to register your      service. Please note that while doing so you also need to create the corresponding RFC      destination to that system.

Hi,

Thanks, I was able to do this but when I try to execute it in the gateway client or browser I get this message

"HTTP Open failed: PLUGIN_NOT_ACTIVE".

Please let me know how can I resolve this.

Hi Dhruv,

Then it is possible that your ICM is not active.

Go to Tcode SMICM Administartion -> ICM ->Restart.

But  this will work only if you have ICM configurations done. See more about ICM here.

Hi Dhruv,

To add to Krishna, Please check if your HTTP port is active by clicking on Services button(Shift+F1).

Hi All,

The HTTP port is active. But I don't think the configuration is loaded correctly. The HTTP port is defined as 0 and there is no ACL file.
Do you guys have an idea about how to go about the configuration? I think a cryptographic file is required as well?

Dhruv

Hi Dhruv.

Can you check with your Basis team once ACL file installed successfully or not.

Thanks,

Syam
