Hello,
We are on SAP R/3 enterprise 4.7x200 , OS - Solaris, DB - Oracle 10g and planning to go on SAP ERP 6.0 EHP6 , OS - Linux/AIX, DB - ORacle 11g.
Thus, I want to know about the compatibility of the SAP Router for ERP 6 EHP 6. (ie 606).
Our current SAP Router version is 700 and I would like to know if this is compatible with ERP 6 EHP 6 or should we upgrade to latest SAP Router 720 ?
I did research on SCN forums, notes but could not find information on this.
P.S - I believe SAP Router version should not be a concern and there should be no compatibility with the SAP Product Releases.
Thank you,
Harsh
Hello
SAProuter is an independent installation and has nothing to do with SAP system running on the same host.
It has nothing to do with the version of kernel or the release of the SAP systems connected with it.

Hey Reagan,
Thank you for your reply, I even raised a OSS message and they had the same views :
SAP Console 7.10 is no longer supported but is compitable with all
SAP releases currently supported. This includes ERP 6.0 EHP 6.
Please use SAP Console 7.30 which can be used in conjunction will
all SAP system release currently supported.
Regards,
Harsh

Hi Harsh,
In addition if you want to check for any component specific dependency during an upgrade, always use the Upgrade Dependency Analyzer.
