Hi,
I need to terminate workflow if some condition satisfies.
So i have created one event in SE24 and added it in workflow ( Terminating Events )
Basic data- > version dependent -> Event -> Receiver Type (Terminating Event)But not able to terminate workflow.Does anybody know about it?Thanks RJ
Hi,
If your need is to complete the workflow when some condition is not satisfied say PO not released, use process control step with control function selection as 'Cancel workflow' or 'Complete Workflow' based on your need.

Hello Ravi !
To trigger the workflow via custom event, mere maintaining event linkage won't suffice, in most cases.
Event may have to be configured in change document or may have to be fired from BAdI implementation etc., If your scenario is related to SAP HCM, the custom event may have to be configured in SWEHR3 like transaction.
So, it all depends on the functional module too like SAP MM,SAP PS etc.,
If this custom event is not seen in SWEL transaction, you've to apply either of the aforementioned methods that suits appropriate for the requirement/scenario.

S.Suresh.

Hello,
Did you do SWU_OBUF? Did you create a new workflow instance? Did you check in SWEL that the event was created?
