Multiple GI-Zone

Hi Gurus,

For outbound Process after picking , HU always  transferrred to GI-ZONE under Storage Type 9020. Is it possibe to have multiple Interim Storage Bins for 9020?

The requirement is to have corresponding GI-ZONE for each Storaye Type in Warehosue.

Exp:

we have 2 storage Types (racks)   9999 and 9998  under same warehosue  then after picking Goods to be moved to   GI-ZONE for Storage Type 9999 and to GI-ZONE1   for 9998.

Is that possible? We are using POSC and in EWM 7.2

Hello Saby,

Yes it is possible, but you need to use storage groups to seperate storage bins for each scenario(determination rule).

Thanks for your answer. Can you a bit elaborative please? Do we  need to maintain separte storage  groups for what?

We are not using Layout Oriented Stoarge Process Control

Hello Saby,

I misunderstood your question, i thought intermediate bin before staging; but you are asking bin determination for staging(the bin where you post GI), right?
