Serial number Reset

Hi,

When I try to reset Serial Number for a material using program RIMASE01 , getting as error as below

MASE update not supported for material number XXX

Message no. I0302

What could be the reason for missing MASE update?

there are 3 possible reasons for this message:

- you have no entry for this material in table MASE

- a serial number has a character unequal to    0123456789

- serial number from table MASE  is smaller than the serial number for this material in table EQUI
