Datasources/Extractors -- Unapproved SES's and Service Line Commitments

Hello SAP Community!

Long time googler, first time poster.

I have two requests to bring new ECC data into BW.

1. Unapproved SES's with cost object data in order to bring visibility to Unapproved SES's toward the end of the month, and also to supply data to do manual accruals on SES's that don't get approved.

2. Commitments and Net Value/Net Price at a PO - PO Line - Services level.

My research has led me to believe that activating and extending the 2LIS_02_SRV datasource is the best course of action for both of these requirements.  For #2 I would probably combine this data with 0CO_OM_OPA_7 and 0CO_OM_CCA_10.  Is there a better course of action?  Are there other datasources I should consider?

Thanks,

Ken

Hi All

I have created a FM extractor for Approved SES claims which joins ESSR and ESLL. The join is quite tricky as its self referencing. If you need the code let me know and I will post up.

I now need to identify Unapproved claims and what status they are in. Do you know where that info is stored?

Thanx in advance

Hi Ken,

I had a similar requirement and i used two Datasources,

1) 2LIS_02_SCL ..but i cud have used 2LIS_02_ITM- Delta Enabled.

2) FM Based Generic Datasource Extractor on table ESSR (Will check and Confirm on this).

Reporting on Multiprovider.

I think ESLL is the service line table, and neither the SCL nor the ITM extractors involve that table as far as I can tell.  That is why I ended up on the SRV extractor.  PO Line is not enough detail in this case.  As far as I understand, Schedule Lines <> Service Lines.

Hi

To your point 2) If you are looking at PO from internal order / costcenter perspective then you could combine these two. It's a bit tricky to combine the two depending on how you use internal order. (Statisitical or not) You have to make sure you don't double count what has been posted to costcenter directly.. What about 0MM_PUR_SRV_LEVEL?

Since you mention in Point 1) the 2lis_02 LO Cockpit. I would probably try to fullfil it all with the 2LIS_02* extractors since you are about to initialize the setuptables..

Hope it helps

Unfortunately 0MM_PUR_SRV_LEVEL reports on the service level of vendors at a po level.  I am looking for service lines in the following context:

Within purchasing there is a natural hierarchy

PO

PO Line

PO Line Services

Multiple PO lines on a PO, multiple PO Line Services on a PO Line.  Each of these PO Line Services has its own total and remaning amounts, as well as a cost object.  It is this detail that I need to extract.  The organization in question Typically makes a PO with just a single PO Line and then puts the detail and cost objects on the Service Lines.

thanks,

Ken
