CU50 function module for variant configuration

Hi ,

Variant configuration function modules are required .

Is there any way that i can get the same kind of result available in Cu50 in my code with function modules ?

I have a BOM for which in my code i can fill all characteristics and then i should get all items characteristics picked automatically as shown in

CU50 .
