IDOC_AAE - SAP PI 7.3 inbound adapter is RED

hi,

i am using SAP PI 7.3 single stack. I want to receive IDOC's from ECC system. In PI, the configuration of inboundRA is done as per below link -

NWA -->Configuration ->infrastructure->application resources->inboundRA - Resource Adapter

But the inboundRA is RED.And when I am restarting inboundRA - the error is Failed to start.

Please advise on it.

Please have a look at this document: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-43471

Check section InboundRA configuration details, point 2.

I've set this to 2. if not, the InboundRA did not start anymore or failed after a few minutes.

thanks.

as per link we need to have XI_IDOC_DEFAULT_DESTINATION destination created in SAP PI - NWA.

I am going to create rfc destination XI_IDOC_DEFAULT_DESTINATION in SAP PI -NWA. Which application server it should point to (SAP PI or SAP R/3-ECC).can u please provide details of it. I am not clear on it.

XI_IDOC_DEFAULT_DESTINATION must point to the back end system.

Back end system means sap ecc system.is my understanding rite.

My scenario is sap ecc to sap pi.

So,xi_idoc_default_destination which I create in sap pi_nwa shud give which server details.pls mention d server name..thanks..
