qualityInspectionMeEvalResultRecording message not triggered

Hi,

I am testing Integration of Quality Inspection as per the document Qual Insp

  • We have sent LOIPRO03 Idoc from ECC to SAP ME with QM with 100% Quality Inspection. The shop order is created. QM Inspection tab in Shop order maintenance has Inspection Lot details. A DC Group is created with 2 parameters at Operation 20.
  • At Inspection operation, I enter the values for both the parameters and click on Save.
  • Per document [Step 11], at this point qualityInspectionMeEvalResultRecording message should be sent but the message is not triggered.
  • On complete of this operation, YieldConfirmation call is failing with message "Actual data for QM characteristics of operation 0020 missing"

Can you please let me know if am missing any configuration or any step?

I tested it on 15.1.6 and 15.3.0 and I get the same error message.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hello Alex,

I re-ran the Standard Interface and I see qualityInspectionMeEvalResultRecording is triggered.

In QE51N, I can see results but the Inspection Characteristic is not marked as Completed/Closed.

Do we need to close Inspection Characteristic manually? or can it be automatically closed on results update or Operation/Order complete?

You may need to open a support incident then. It would be more efficient to proceed with the investigation being connected to your system.

Thanks for your reply.

I have enabled both the services & are synchronous.

  • Received the inspection lot with 100% visible in Shop order maintenance.
  • Did the configuration of POD with QM030 with PR510. We get the popup for Sample lot.
  • We performed the Data collection, however it doesn't trigger the interface qualityInspectionResultRecordingRequest

Dear Shridhar,

To trigger QM message, make sure that you have enabled the corresponding Service Extensions and that they are configured as Synchronous.
