Dear experts,

i had 2 operations for my finished product. my requirement is that if first operation starts today ,second operation should be started tomorrow. i had maintained quee time for 2nd operation . but system is calculating quee time from the end of first operation . but my requirement is system should calculate quee time from start time of  first operation

i had order of 2000 ea, base quantity is 100 ea ,maintained quee time as 24 hrs in 2nd operation . system is showing like this

31.07.2013 operation 0010  start time 8.00 am , end time 5.00am on 01.08.2013

adding 24 hrs quee time from 01.08.2013  5.00am

02.08.2013 operation 0020 start time 5.00am , end time 1.00am on 03.08.2013

but my requirement is

31.07.2013 operation 0010  start time 8.00 am , end time 5.00am on 01.08.2013

need to   add 24 hrs quee time from 31.07.2013  8.00am

01.08.2013 operation 0020 start time 8.00am , end time 1.00am on 02.08.2013

Thanks,

Hello Ramya

You must define an overlapping between the operations. The queue time is also considered when two operations are overlapped.

The online help explains provides the following information:

If an operation is usually started before the preceding operation is finished, this is an overlap. The overlap is defined in the operation (Overlapping tab page).

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

In this case, the system calculates the start dates and finish dates in such a way that the overlapped operations can be carried out continuously, taking into account the minimum send-ahead quantity and the minimum overlap time. The waiting time of the overlapped operations is determined from the waiting time of the first operation (the overlapping sequence).
