Why cann't generate a new sub-item for packaging material automatically

Hi, expert

Now, in our project, we need pack goods in delivery document operation.

For example: we use WoodCase10 to pack LiFebattery when we create delivery document.

Every thing is ok so far.

But, after i left packing view, return to the normal view of delivery document,  we found there wasn't any new sub-items created.

We hope that packaging material(WoodCase10) can be displayed in the delivery document.

I tried check the indicator[□Gen.pack, matl item], but it doesn't work.

I also config the field of [GenerateDlvItms] with value [A Item generation is ship-to party is unque] , it doesn't work too.

How could we do?

thanks!!!

Hi, Wang

It seems you have configure every things which are needed.

Maybe you can check if you have the right configuration with the item category determination in delivery.

For example: LF VERP PACK DLN

Hope the advice is useful.

Good luck.

After reconfigured it, the problem is solved.

Thanks.

Dear,

Check the Box " Automatic Packing " in Delivery type and maintain the records in POP1 and POF1 and try new cycle .

If you have any doubts please let me know .

Thanks,

Hi, Narendra.

I think it's not about the Automatic Packing. It's about the why it couldn't generate the sub-item for packaging material.

But thanks!

Let me know if you have any doubts .

Note : if possible can you explain with small example of your scenario .
