Integration between Sales and Distribution (SD) and partial invoice

As of SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0,the business function Utilities; Invoicing 1 (ISU_INV_1) is available.The business function provides a simplified and more direct integration between Sales and Distribution (SD) and Invoicing in Contract Accounts Receivable and Pa....

Is it possible to provide direct integration between Sales and Distribution (SD) and partial invoice? Has any one worked on this regards?

Hi Shruti,

In Enhancement 5 business function ISU_INV_1 stands for Business Function Utilities Convergent Invoicing1. This means that there is a direct integration from SD with convergent invoicing. It is important to note that Convergent Invoicing is not integrated with IS-U- Billing/ Invoicing. For more information on business function ISU_INV_1 please refer to the link below:

Now comming to your question on integration between SD Billing and partial bills. Partial Bill is a budget billing procedure with the bill value being taken from the BBP. But integration between SAP SD billing document and ISU is for periodic, interim or final invoice documents.

HI Shruti,

Futher to the point that I have mentioned, it is possible to integrate SD billing request with Partial Bill. SAP standard configuration in FICA - SD integration is only required to integrate SD billing request with Partial Bill. You can use transacton EA25 or EA45 to have both the SD billing and Partial bill in one Print document.

Fully agree with Rahul over the standard Business Function ISU_INV_1.

However, would like to know the Business requirement for which you are planning to integrate SD with a partial invoice.
