Problem with BCM Soap call to CRM



I am programming an IVR in BCM. The CRM team has provided URLs for two SOAP calls I need to make.

One of them works fine. For example, I set the URL, the function name, and I add the required parameter. The function call succeeds.

The other one, however, does not. Similar to the first soap call, I set the URL, function and parameters. I set the logging level to debug so I could see what is going wrong. I'd expect to see <IVParam1>'foo'</IVParam1><IVParam2>'bar'</IVParam2> in the soap payload being posted, as that's how the soap form in the IVR is programmed. Instead, I am seeing <IVParam1/> in the payload, that's all, and never anything else, no matter what parameters I set (or not).

I even created a customizer, so I can make the call using custom python, but it does the same exact thing! <IVParam1/> and nothing else.

Has anyone else ever run into this issue? How do I resolve it?
