add custom field in Bid Creation screen

hi,

Configure Generic Field Display on User Interface

Configure Control for fields on Header Level

but I cannot see my field on Bid Creation screen. We are having NWBC 4.0 as SRM frontend. SRM version is 7.0

I followed the simple steps given here, anything additional is required ?

HI Bhakti,

Please check in Step Configure Generic Field Display on User Interface the position specified is incorrect try removing the entry from table for this step.

It should be displayed at default position if Visible check box is checked in meta data.

I did what you said, I deleted the entry

but it didnt show up

also i tried different options of inclusive, exclusive etc

Finaly I added field in the webdynpro view

it is working and also capturing the new data, its seen in bbp_pd

webdynrpo change was reuqired, to add zfield in context, then add new field on view and map it

Dear Bhakti,

What do you mean by BID creation screen is it BID Invitation (i.e. BUS2200) ?

If so please check in the step Define Customer Fields on Header Level, have you added the custom field at both the places:

Append for Customer Fields on RFx Header

Append for Customer Cross-Document Database Fields on Header (this will be used to save your value to DB)

Also verify the step Configure Control for fields on Header Level whether you have checked the check box field visible
