BUDGET datasource error with negative amounts

Hi All,

I am getting error while loading BUDGET data source data from ECC to BW system using SPM content extractors because of negative amounts.

Please suggest how me how to correct this issue.

Hi Prasanna,

I believe your OPMDM_VALI_RULE table needs to be adjusted. Please see note 1660677 - SPM Validation Message Error: Unallowed values or invalid values.

Hi Prasanna,

Currently In SPM the validation logic written for CURR and DEC values does not allow negative values.

It only allows Number 0-9 and ,(for decimal).

set the rule FORMAT CURR in table OPMDM_VALI_RULE from type E to W and that

should give you a warning in place of error.

then you can manually pass this warning to load the data to BW.

But this actually allows negative for all curr types and dec types including invoice and PO where we handle negation in a different way.

by the way i have one question do real time business data has Negative values for budgeting and Forcasting?is it is test data?
