In MD04 SNP Planned Orders and PP/DS Planned Orders look the same

Hi all,

The SNP Planned Orders and PP/DS Planned Orders are tranferred to R/3. In transaction MD04 I can see them. But I can not see if a Planned Order is an SNP or an PP/DS Planned order. They look just the same.

Is it possible (with any settings) that I can see in MD04 if the tranferred order is (in APO) a SNP or a PP/DS Planned Order?

Thank your very much and kindest regards,

Eva

Dear,

In standard SAP ECC system  you can not differentiate SNP and PPDS planned orders.

I am not sure but you can explore the BAdi MD_DISPLAY_ELEMENT for MD04 display of MRP element.

Other work around is different production versions for SNP and PPDS with same master data example A100 for SNP and B100 for PPDS so in MD04 you can have SNP planned order with production version A100 and PPDS with B100.

Dear Rupesh Brahmankar,

I think I will first check the BAdI and if that does not work we will have to use different versions.

Thank your very much for your helful answer!

Kindest regards,

Eva

what rupesh suggested as a work around is what we also follow, we have PPDS as the Prod ver for PPDS Generated Planned order and SNP for SNP Generated planned order. Or you can have the Number range defined for PPDS and SNP orders in APO.
