R/3 scenario

Hi,

I have a scenario where a delivery will be made for a corresponding sales order in the R/3 system in the EDI format.Does anyone know how can i bring this delivery document into my XI system from where i will have to post it to a SQL server using JDBC adapter.

For that u can use Seeburger EDI Adapter

And for understanding how to start and configure things for this scenario,go thr this link

Is there any other option other using this EDI adapter.like will i be able to change the format of the delivery so that i can use some other adapter or abap proxy instead?

Jishi, i think Seeburger is doing exactly wht u want.Seeburger BIC Adapter is converting the EDI- XML format. But if u r looking 4 some other way then that i don't know.May be u r goinng to tell me thi.:-))

BTW these adapters are made 4 such scenarioes only.

Hi,

you can buy seeburger's adapters from SAP

(SAP sells them)

they are not for free...

Hi Jishi,

you have to check how your EDI operator

works in your country

In my country EDI messages are send/received

via web services insiade a SOAP message

so we don't have to use EDI adapter just standard SOAP

adapter

check this first
