Hi All,

We are trying to use the NWDI functionalities in MII. We are referring the document http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/f0d998ba-2076-2d10-b3be-90909838e...

We have successfully done all the steps mentioned in the doc.

but when I try enabling the NWDI from MII, i get the following error message.

[C00003EF892005CA00000005000056B8] Error occurred while updating NWDI user configuration; development config is not valid for SAP MII content development

I have gone throught the thread on SDN which speaks about the similar issue. http://scn.sap.com/thread/2109512

as mentioned in the thread we have enabled the Name server and also Proper admin authorization is given to the user using which i am logging in to the NWDI from MII. But still I am not able to resolve the error.

Is there any SAP Note related to this issue or am I missing any extra settings. Please Help.

Thanks and regards,

Sanjeev Sharma

Have you imported the XMII SCA and MII_BUILDT SCA in your Track? Also ensure they are the correct version for your MII server. Without these you will see the error.

Hi All,

Thanks for your quick and helpful response,

Problem is resolved!!

Actually the path given in the document is    /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in/CMSusalpd63NPD/CMS

we modified it to                                         /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in/CMSusalpd63NPD/CMS/inbox

also while configuration we used the user having CMSADMIN rights

Hi Sanjeev ,

I am facing the same issue .

Could you please tell what do you mean by CMSADMIN rights.

I am trying it with a user with which I can login to CMS from the URL.

Also , any idea if it to do somthing with cms/dtr certificates as I am getting "Peer Connection Refused Error  "

Thanks for your help

Hi Shweta,

by CMSADMIN I mean the NWDI.Administrator rights

following are the Roles assigned to the NWDI_CMSADM user which we used to configure the NWDI Track in Netweaver Server

Assigned Roles : NWDI.Administrator
Assigned Groups : NWDI.Administrator

UME Assigned Action :    deploy_action
                                      LcrinstanceWriterAll
                                      upload_action

also can you pls share the error screen shot so that others can also help in finding the re-solution

Thanks

Sanjeev Sharma
