PFAC vs OOCU_RESP

Hi all,

What is the better way to maintain a rule in locked client (in a security measurement) ?

Is it better to create a transport in DEV (PFAC) or to make a change directly in PRD (OOCU_RESP)

Thanks,

Julia.

Hi,

It's been a while since I've done this but it makes sense to follow the policy of using PFAC to change the rule (and transporting) and then OOCU_RESP for just the assignments.

Thank you for your answer - it is make sence!

Is there any document (in sap help or maybe a note) that can refer to this sap policy?

Hi Julia,

I've not seen anything specific.  I have used the view that a similar process to standard HR should be followed -  the rules are treated like config (structural authorisations in the HR context) and all config should be transported.  Assignments are treated more like master data.

Cheers
