Error 9 in Update when loading data in RSA1

Dear Experts,

We have a strange issue here. We refreshed our BW box with production and performed all the steps correctly without any issues.

After that when we are trying to do a data load test from RSA1 for certain infocubes, we see this error:

We faced this error previously also by applying these fixes:

1. As our production had TREX and this box doesn't have that, so with RSCUSTA we deleted the TREX RFC which was there.

2. As our production had TREX and this box doesn't have that, so with RSDDBIAMON2 we Switched-off Index Searching.

3. We applied the note 1662548, which exactly deals with this problem.

But this time, even after applying the above fixes as well, we are not able to solve it. We checked SM58 and WE02 in both BW and Source System but found no anomalies. Everything is "joyfully green" .

Kindly advise.

Thanks,

Avishek

Viola, the issue is resolved!

Additional to the below steps:

1. As our production had TREX and this box doesn't have that, so with RSCUSTA we deleted the TREX RFC which was there.

2. As our production had TREX and this box doesn't have that, so with RSDDBIAMON2 we Switched-off Index Searching.

3. We applied the note 1662548, which exactly deals with this problem.

...the issue was also with the BDLS of Source R/3 Systems. Some of the table entries were missed in conversion in the R/3 system. Took those in consideration and ran BDLS again in R/3 system. As soon as it completed, Load worked fine.

Thanks Sriram and specially Rishi for all the hints and helps. Rewarded points to you guys.

Hi Sriram,

What exactly do you want me to refer in that thread, kindly explain?

As my view is that this is not a source system issue. This is something else.

Thanks.

Hi,

Initially can you check the below Tcode WE20(Check that the System are active state),WE21,BD64,BD54,BD97 and check the below mentioned table RSBASIDOC RSBKDTP, RSTRAN, TADIR, RSPCVARIANT, RSSTATMAN,... are not converted and  pointing to the old system name.

Once all the above steps are green . We need to check the RFC and the user used in the rfc have proper access  in both the source and the target system.

Hope that you would have already run BDLS to convert the entry of Production system for all the system conncted to BW and would have got the new id in BW system in RSA1.

Please let me know your input and see how we go from there.

Thanks a lot Rishi for the response.

Yes, I have ran BDLS and checked each of the things you mentioned above. No issues found.

Hi,

Are any other loads working or its only with this one.

As you already mentioned that you have checked all the tables can you please let me know your support pack patch for ABAP and BASIS. And you would have restored the BW system after the system copy?

Can you please click on the ? mark button in the error.

Thanks
