Hi guys.
I have a production order PO1. PO1 has one operation with work center WC1 (WC1 has one activity defined-MACHINE MC1).
PO1 is already released. No confirmation has been carried yet.
Now I have added one more activity in WC1, say LABOUR LC1.
If I confirm the operation with work center WC1, cost is not getting booked for the new activity LC1 but the hours are booked.
But if I remove and add the same work center against the same operation or add new operation with same work center, cost is getting booked for PO1.
I have nearly 500 production orders already released with work center WC1.
I don't want to remove and add the same work center in the production orders to book the labour activity LC1 costs.
How to solve this issue?
Thanks in advance.
Hello K.Arun,
Have you maintained activity cost in KP26?One more thing you could is direct activity allocation with KB21N and post cost collectively.

Guys,
I have maintained the activity cost in KP26.
The problem is that I have some 500 to 600 production orders already released with the same work center WC1.
Any mass function to update the table AFVC for the released production orders with this new activity added in the work center?

We had same issue sometime before,
Simplest solution is as suggested by Above experts and suggested you do it manually
or Use below FM or Ask Your technical team to explore these functional modules
- BAPI_PRODORD_CHANGE
- CO_SE_PRODORD_CHANGE
They will create a RFC enabled FM that wrap execution of a BDC if above FM is no help.

Dear,
Yes that's true but you have only release orders as per your posting.
PO1 is already released. No confirmation has been carried yet.
Now I have added one more activity in WC1, say LABOUR LC1.
I have nearly 500 production orders already released with work center WC1.
Anyway once you do partial confirmation or good movement after that you do any changes to an order will create variance which is not a part practice. I will suggest reverse the confirmation and good movement and TECO all orders and create fresh orders.

Hi. K.Arun Prabhu
The problem is when you update the Work Center, the order operation (table AFVC-LAR01 02 03 04 05 06) Is not updated with the new activity. This is the standard behavior and guess this is correct because the order read master data at the time of creation.
I dont think that update this table, nor enhance CO11N in order to fill this field is a solution, i mean its to risk and i dont think that work.
DeeJoy is correct about KB21 in order to post the activity directly
Arturo.
