Is it possible to move the complete org. unit from one company to another company in SRM?

Hi All,

Happy New Year!

We have requirement to move the organization unit from one company(1000-plant 1101) to another company (2000-plant 1201)with different plant.

Is this possible and all the users be assigned with new company code and plant?

What are consequential effects on shopping carts, confirmations and Invoices of users with new company code and plant?

If we move the org. unit or department from one company code to another company code then will the attributes of new org. units to be assigned to users?

Please confirm.

I want to move the particular org. structure from one company to another company.

It is amalgamation of 2 company codes into one company code. All the org. units from company 1000 to be assigned to company 2000.

What will happen in this case?

When you refer to moving organisation unit, are you referring to the organisation structure

Within the Org structure, plants and company codes are maintained as attributes. There is a report in SRM to update the attributes to a new value. All SRM documents are linked to the BP of the user who created it. Even if the attributes of the organisation units are changed, this will not prevent the user from accessing the documents
