Ok, I have a quick question I hope someone can assist me with
In STMS, just imagine a transport path like this:
DR3100 > DR3600
> UR3600 > PR3600
So basically once transports are released in DR3100, they would import to both DR3600 and UR3600 (a branched path). Once in UR3600, it will go into the buffer for PR3600.
Would something like this work in ChaRM? We would only require DR3100, UR3600 and PR3600 in the Logical Component? (our import jobs to DR3600 and UR3600 will be run via STMS jobs, not jobs within ChaRM task list).
Does anyone see any complications with this and would this work?
Would the transport of copies go into DR3600 and UR3600??????
Thanks
Shaun
Hi Shaun,
Please define transport group to move the tranport llel in DR3600 and UR3600 after TR release in Dev system (DR3100).
But the TR automatciall import ony in QAS system ( UR3600) if u defined logical component for three system landscape, manually import the TR in DR3600 using stms.
In three system landscape , able to move the Transport depond upon the stms track.
Logical component:
Dev(DR3100) -> QAS(UR3600) -> PRD(PR3600)
Dev(DR3100) -> QAS1(DR3600)
If u define the logical component like above , UR3600 and DR3600 system is created in task list.
So manually go to task list and schedule the TR for DR3600 system ( urgent and normal change).
but if u defined the four system landscape in logical component like Dev -> QAS1 -> QAS2 -> PRD
then it will go DR3100 > DR3600 ->UR3600 > PR3600 like four system landscape.
Please check the dolores blog first four question for more clarification.

Hi Shaun,
For this you would have to create a target group to move the tranport in DR3600 and UR3600 after TR release in Dev system (DR3100).
and then define the four system landscape as karthik said.
