Hi Venkatesh Yadav

First take the dump of Standard tables like PA-PSA,EG-ESG groupings V_001P_ALL & V_503_ALL & Personnel Actions etc...

* Test the Integration between OM to PA (Reporting manager, cost center updations)

* PA to TM (Leave Request Apply,Approval from Portal)

*PA to PY (Payroll process up to Pre DME,Form 16 generation etc....)

Morover SAP will give the Drabacks&bugs list while patch level updation please check the same.

Start updation from with BASIS team Developmrnt-->Quality-->Production (if it possible Clone Production)

Hope it helps,All the Best

Regards,

Murali.

Hi Venkatesh,

When you are updating patch in SAP It is strongly advisable to do in the Development, Quality and Production Server So that all Servers will be updated with new version. When there is an issue in Development Server , you will save transport request and same will be moved to Quality for new patch that has been updated in quality server.

For updating SAP HR Patch  You need to test all scenarios related to HR Module You have to check Reports and Scenarios Incase of any errors, SAP has released notes to resolve.Mostly, issues will come in reports. For example: Change in layout.

Strongly Recommeded:  The basis consultant will keep back up copy at the time of updating patch.

Note: Thoroughly check zreports in SAP.

Hello Venkatesh,

You can check the relevant changes between the HRSP and then do the testing accordingly.
