0Material

Hello Experts

i had loads of discussions on enhancing the 0Material and converting Direct update to Flexible update for 0Material.

my scenario is

i have a Ztable in R/3 with 20 fields which is related to material, so i enhanced in 0material (i mean i added additional fields). I added all this <b>zobjects</b> in <b>0material_attr</b> infosource and assigned <b>2</b> datasources for this ie 1. <b>Material_attr</b> (BC Datasource) and 2. <b>ZGENDS</b> (Generic Datasource). This both the datasources are assigned to one infosource and the datatarget (<b>0MATERIAL)</b>, which is having only one update rule (OMATERIAL_ATTR). Data is being loaded into 0material from 2 different info packages.

If i extract the data from first info package(DS: MATERIAL_ATTR),standard objects will be filled with data. when i run the second info package (DS: ZGENDS) my target will be filled in zfields.

when i extract from first infopackage the <b>ZFIELDS</b>will be empty, after running the second infopackage my ZFIELDS will get populated.

Now my question is after running the second infopackage will the data be lost or overwrite for those fileds, which is being populated after running the FIRST info package, as the data target only have one update rule?hope my question is clear. thanks

Kanth.
