I would like, if possible, the procedure, with details, about the treatment in SAP for Services. I know, that there are services items in master of materials and master of services. In material master we have the DIEN type and in the Services Master we have the SERV type. Do you know which difference in details, between these type of services, please?
What are the impacts to migrate every items in master of materials to master of services (the impacts include performance, measurement and tax recuperation)?

HI,
Material type DIEN is used - when you offer "SERVICE" to your customer and Service Master is used -when you procure "SERVICE" from your vendor.
Refer threads which are already discussed about Material type DIEN and Service Master(AC03)

Using the service master instead of DIEN changes all the aquisition process.
To "receive" the service using the service master you have to make a service entry sheet (ML81N) befor receiving the invoice.
The taxes applied to the service master may be different from the ones applied to a DIEN.
For more information, you can use the SAP material.
