What is the use of number of message field in shipping point determination ?

Dear sap sd experts

i want to know one thing

while defining shipping point -- in shipping point we can see IN PRINT PICK LIST folder

we can see number of message is there

I would like to know what is the number of messages

i have checked with F1 but not described

Hello,

It pertains to picking list output.

The maximum number of time the picking output could be generated is what it depicts.

It is almost like multiple issuing check box in Output type configuration just with a functionality to set the max number of times.

that specifies the no. of copies of the picking list to be printed. if you have assigned it here, then you could see the same thing in Delivery Picking output.
