warranty Processing in Maintenance Order

Hello All

I have made all related settings for Warranty processing in SPRO under Plant maintenance and Customer Service.

The below data maintained in Equipment master:

When I create a order and assign the reference object, system displays below dialog box containing warranty information, however it doesn't display complete details of valid services within the Warranty master .

But when I enter into the order and follow path: Extras-->Reference object-->warranty Information below details about services in warranty master displayed. I want to have this details automatically popped up at the order creation screen i.e. within the above dialog box. Is it possible. What additional settings are involved.

    I think in standard it will only display the dialog box as shown above. if you want the details then i think you have to use the user exit

    • BG000002 Warranty check - dialog box
    • BG000003 Change of warranty check result - subscreen

    Have a look at the Warranty Type settings in the IMG:

      Hi Pete,

      Could you explain in more details about using BG000002 and BG000003?

      I have the same requirement, but I've only develop User Exit BG000002. The problem is, I finally get the warranty check details pop up, but it's empty. No data shown in the pop up screen. Should I also develop user exit BG000003? For your information this is the source code I made at BG000002:

      DATA: ls_bgmkobj TYPE bgmkobj.
      IF NOT i_equi IS INITIAL.
      ls_bgmkobj-j_objnr = i_equi-objnr.
      IF NOT i_iflo IS INITIAL.
      ls_bgmkobj-j_objnr = i_iflo-objnr.
      IF NOT ls_bgmkobj-j_objnr IS INITIAL.
      is_bgmkobj = ls_bgmkobj
      iv_check_date = sy-datum.
      REFRESH: i_result, i_text1.

      Really appreciate it if you would help me.
