deletion of leave requests in database

hi all,

when i raise a leave request and send that leave request from 0ct 30 to NOV 2  clik on send.....and after one minute i deleted the same request which i created as i dont want to apply to tat date...next i apply for next dates 6TH NOV to 9 NOV ....as we have a scenario after casual leave employees cannot apply Privilage leave....( CL shud not club with PL) as per my client holiday calendar ......NOV 3, 4 , 5 is a holidays ...so if  delete previous record from oct 30 to nov 2nd  from leave overview ..it shud get delete permanently from database also in r3 ...as it is not deleting ...wen i go to ptarq and DELETE documents there the deleted record from portal is there ...with the status withdrawn....my requirement is wen we delete the record from portal  it shud get delete from database also permanently ...and it shud not be seen in delete documents also.......is there any workflow settings required for this

delete will also get rid of entries in 2001., you need to approve it and run rptarqpost, read below

or admin can delete using rptarqdbdel

a. Cancellation of a Leave in 'SENT' status:-
When an user requests a leave (with workflow), it starts the workflow
and an workitem is created in the approver's inbox for approval. Now if
the user cancels the leave before the approver could approve/reject,
the workitem will be completed and the workitem will be removed from the
approver's inbox. The new status of the document will be 'WITHDRAWN'. In
this case no new workflow will not be triggered on cancellation.

b. Cancellation of a Leave in 'APPROVED/REJECTED' status:-
When the approver approves/rejects the leave request, the workitem will
get completed and the workitem will be removed from the approver's
inbox. Now if the user cancels the leave request, workflow will not be
triggered. This is because, as per the standard behavior is concerned,
cancellation of a leave which is 'APPROVED' (not yet posted) doesn't
require manager's approval hence no new workitem will be created.

d. Cancellation of a Leave in 'POSTED' status:- Only the approved
requests are posted to the infotype 2001. When an user cancels a posted
leave request, it creates a DEL item. Creation of a DEL item triggers
the workflow and a new workitem is created in the approver's inbox. Upon
the approval of the workitem, the record is removed from the infotype on

the next run of the posting report (RPTARQPOST).

hi sidarth ,

in this case wen an employee deletes the leave requests it is storing in delete documents ...and if the employee deletes leave request whether workflow will stop of that deleted leave requests or not ?

my problem is the employee is deleted the applied record but wen he again applied leave but it is picking deleted leave request condition.... as i need wen an employee deletes the leave from delete documents it shud delete or else the wrkflow shud stop of tat deleted leave request ....kindly solve this prblm ....if one employee has this problem every time the admin will not delete know going to delete documents ...as this shud get delete permanently and update the record after employee applies leave for next period.....kindly suggest me ......
