We are facing TREX Issues in project, Can somebody please support / guide us as SME so we can troubleshoot / resolve accordingly though parallelly we are working with SAP as well for same.
Please find brief overview of the issue :
webshop ( Portal ) is facing issues intermittently whenever some one from client side updates ERMS index, the TREX services crashes, specifically Index server and http server. TREX is a windows based standalone server which connects to Portal ( https://www.project-europe.com/irj/portal ) and provides the search engine features to webshop users.
Just a few days ago we have patched the TREX to revision 56, which unfortunately did not resolve the issue. Time being we are following work around --> We restart the IIS server in case of http server crashes or/and restart the missing index services in case index server crashes.
SAP had pinpointed that the issue is related to the locking of the index files by an external process but later we got made sure that the directory is untouched and no external process is accessing the binaries but still we are facing the issues.
