Hi Experts

I deactivated characteristic ARTNR in KEQ3.

Now I need to improve the performance of KE30 and settlements, but the customer wants to delete the old PA segments in CE4 table, not just archiving. By deleting, i think I wont be able to access data from KE30 for the past.

am I correct?

Is there a way to regenerate old PA segments considering the new KEQ3 settings?

Archiving is very much enough.. Why you want to delete it??

I would stick to the archiving solution

To answer your first question is Yes you are correct once deleted you can not access those data in SAP.

I don't think so you can re generate old PA segments, As you know PA segments are unique combination characteristics  since now you changed the KEQ3 settings.
